Charter Boats for Fishing - Why Fish With Us

We pride ourselves on supplying you with the latest technology and equipment. Our boat is fitted with twin 150HP Honda motors and will get you to the fishing grounds faster than the bigger, slower charter boats for fishing . That means more fishing trip time and less travel time for you.

With a maximum of six clients on our boat, means less tangled lines and provides you with a more personalised service. You get to go fishing with the owner/operator of the business with over 30 years NT fishing experience. Gerard is passionate about fishing and sharing his knowledge and loves to see the thrill and excitement enjoyed by our valued clients when landing that fish of a lifetime.

Our electric Minn Kota motor will spot lock you on the fish and allows us to change spots quickly. Allowing us more fishing time to fish more spots than the bigger charter boats that need to take more time dropping and raising anchor.

Our private boat charter can be towed/trailered to multiple locations, so it allows us to transport you to prime fishing spots in our Dodge RAM to locations like the Tiwi Islands, Vernon Islands, Dundee Beach to fish the Peron Islands. Also, to multiple Barramundi destinations like the Adelaide River, Daly River, Shady Camps Mary River system like Tommy Cut Creek and the many coastal creeks or Corroboree Billabong.

See stunning wildlife & scenery onboard our 7.5m Ocean Cylinder boat with twin outboards, shaded hard top cover & comfortable seating. All experience levels welcome!

Everything You Need

We supply all tackle, bait, ice for your BYO, water & soft drinks. Lunch is provided on full day charters. We have sunscreen & hand sanitiser on the boat. All you need to bring is your happy face, sun smart clothing, sunglasses, a hat & a soft cooler bag to take your fish home with you.

Welcome to Alure Fishing Charters NT. My name is Gerard Wilkie, the owner operator of the business. After 30 plus years experience fishing the Northern Territory and gaining some fantastic knowledge as a Commercial Skipper with two different successful fishing charter companies here in Darwin, I decided it was time to start my own fishing charter business to cater for the growing demand of people looking for a magic day on the water.

I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you and taking you on a tour that showcases the topends beautiful scenery, wildlife & the chance of catching the fish of a life time and the added benefit of seeing our vibrant city from the waterway of Darwin Harbour.

I’ve done a lot of fishing charters over the years in Australia and overseas (especially in Darwin and Dundee Beach), by far Gerard of Alure Fishing Charters is the best that I’ve been with to date. We went with him a few days ago for a full day charter and had a fantastic day. Not only did he put us on a heap of fish, but he was such a friendly, helpful and happy bloke to be with for the day. I’ve fished all my life and he still managed to teach me a few tips and tricks. We are already talking about booking another charter with him next year. If you’re unsure of which charter to use in Darwin, I honestly don’t know who could do better than Gerard at Alure - make a booking!!!
